MAGNOLIA, Arkansas – The Ouachita men's and women's cross country teams were back in action on Friday night the Lois Davis Invitational hosted by Southern Arkansas University.
The Tiger women's team finished second out of five teams, trailing only NCAA Division I opponent Louisiana-Monroe. Ouachita's men's team finished third out of five teams.
Ouachita's top female runner was
Hannah McGuire, who finished ninth with a 5K time of 19:44.
Lani Inman finished 12th at 20:04.81.
Elizabeth Decker was right behind Inman in 13th at 20:15.75.
Ian McDonald and
Drew Bryant were the top male runners for the Tigers in 18th and 19th respectively. McDonald turned in an 8K time of 27:46.50. Bryant finished at 28:01.99.
The Tigers are back in action next Friday, September 26 at the Gans Creek Classic hosted by the University of Missouri.
