KANSAS CITY, Missouri – Ouachita senior Ramon Strassmann has been selected as the MIAA/GAC South Division Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week.

Strassmann was undefeated in three a 3-0 weekend for the Tigers in a Texas road trip. With Strassmann going 2-0 in doubles and 3-0 in singles, Ouachita beat UT Dallas (6-0), Hawaii Pacific (4-3), and UT Permian Basin (4-1).

Against UTD in a singles-only match, Strassmann took down his No. 1 counterpart by scores of 6-1 and 6-4. Against HPU, he and teammate Yarin Aebi won 6-3 at No. 1 doubles followed by a three-set win for Strassmann at No. 1 singles (2-6, 6-0, 6-2). Against UTPB, Strassmann and Aebi won 6-4 at No. 2 doubles. Strassmann then capped his undefeated week with a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles

The senior from Switzerland is off to a 10-0 start to the spring in singles. He and Aebi are 7-2 in doubles.
