Box Score CLEVELAND, Miss.- The Ouachita Tigers (14-14) traveled to Cleveland, Mississippi on Tuesday evening for a match-up with the No. 12 ranked Statesmen of Delta State University. The Tigers held a lead a 1-0 lead after the second inning, but were unable to hang on though,eventually falling by a score of 13-3.

Ouachita's Kurt Peppenhorst took the mound, taking the loss after pitching 4.1 innings and giving up eight runs on seven hits. Landon Moore recorded a 2-of-3 performance in the game, scoring twice, while Jace Melby also posted a 2-of-3 performance, adding three runs batted in. Melby also recorded a stolen base in the game, while Clayton Brandt ended up with a double.

The Tigers look to rebound from the loss tomorrow, as they face off against Delta State at 3 p.m.
