Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark.- The Ouachita Tigers (10-10) faced off with Henderson State (10-6) for an afternoon game on Wednesday. The Tigers took a 9-3 victory over the Reddies behind the performance of their pitchers and the offensive surge that the Tigers posted in the game.

Ouachita's Kurt Peppenhorst was credited with the victory, after throwing 6.2 innings and recording 2 strikeouts. Peppenhorst gave up three earned runs during his time on the mound.

Henderson State's Dusty Thornton took the loss, throwing three innings and giving up one earned run and three walks. The Reddies ended up pitching eigbt different players in the game, five of which gave up at least one run.

Ouachita returns to action on Friday, when they host Arkansas Tech to open Great American Conference play. The Tigers will play a double-header on Friday, followed by a single game on Saturday.
