ARKADELPHIA, Ark.- This weekend's Great American Conference softball series between the Ouachita Lady Tigers and the Lady Bulldogs of Southwestern Oklahoma State has been moved up a day to try and avoid cancellations due to weather.
 
The series was originally scheduled to take place over the course of Friday and Saturday, but instead will be played on Thursday and Friday.
 
To this point in the season, the Lady Tigers have seen eight cancelled games due to weather, including an entire conference series against the University of Arkansas-Monticello.
 
First pitch will take place at Sully Anderson Field on the campus of Ouachita Baptist University at 2 p.m. on Thursday, with a 1 p.m. start occurring on Friday.
