Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - A four-run seventh inning rally wasn't enough for the Ouachita Tigers to overcome an eight-run defcit, as the Tigers lost for only the third time this season at home, 9-4 to Arkansas Tech.
Tech opened up the first inning with the first six batters reaching base. The Tigers were forced to go to the bullpen after starter
Jacob May gave up a sacrifice fly that gave the Wonder boys an early 6-0 lead.Â
In relief,
Josh Reeves would give up to more in the second on a two-run blast over the left field wall by Tech right fielder Zac Johnson. Reeves would settle in and retire four of the next five batters he faced.
The Tigers' bullpen would hold Tech scoreless over five innings, and in the bottom of the seventh would rally to cut the Tech lead in half.
Sean Noland wpuld lead things off with a one-out single. Ryan hammer would single, moving Noland to second. The Tigers' next batter,
Lucas Castleberry would double down the left field line to score Noland from second.
Third baseman
Parker Norris would launch a triple off the wall in right center to score Hammer and Castleberry to make it 8-3 with only one out. Tech would be forced to go to the bullpen. The Tigers would plate one more run in the inning, when Seth Childerssingled through the left side to score Norris from third.Â
Tech would score one more run in the eighth to make it 9-4.
Parker Norris would get the Tigers going in the bottom of the ninth with a perfectly executed drag-bunt single to lead off the inning. he would steal second and then third, but the Tigers were unable to get him home.

The Tigers travel to Alva, Oklahoma this weekend for a three-game series against Northwestern Oklahoma State.   Â
