After two scoreless innings, the Lady Tigers took control, scoring three runs in the bottom of the sixth. The inning started with a single by

Brittany McElroy and herself.
In the top of the seventh and down by two runs, Henderson loaded the bases with no outs. After Frakes came in at pitcher to relieve
Shelby McWhorter, the Lady Tigers recorded three straight outs. The final two outs came on a double play, in which HSU's Kayla Williams flied out to
Parrish Reed, who then threw out Keirsten Seahorn at home.
McWhorter earned the win in game two, pitching for six innings and giving up two runs. Frakes recorded her second save of the season.
The Lady Tigers (14-28, 9-19 GAC) will host Arkansas Tech for a four-game weekend series beginning on Friday, April 11, at 4 p.m.
