Box Score 2 ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Ouachita Tigers wrapped up their series with the Harding Lady Bisons by splitting the final doubleheader of the series. The Tigers won game one, 2-1 and snapped an 11-game losing streak, They came up two runs short after a late-inning rally in game two, falling 6-4.
Starter 
Jade Sones was impressive in game one, scattering five hits over seven innings to earn her second win on the season. She allowed only one run in the complete-game victory, striking out five batters and walking one.
Suzie Gresham drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the fourth, allowing 
Kate Lacina to score from third. 
Jocelyn Jones reached on a fielder's choice and 
Kelly Powell scored from third on the play to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead.
After allowing a run in the top of the fifth, Sones retired nine of the next 11 batters faced and ended the game on called strike three. The win was the Tigers eleventh of the year.
In game two, both starters kept hitters in check through the first four innings. Harding jumped out to a 6-0 lead behind two home runs and an RBI double.
The Tigers answered in the bottom of the sixth with four straight singles, including a bases-loaded RBI single by 
Sarah Johnson. 
Macy Nantz hit a single down the leftfield line to score 
Kailey Madden and 
Kelly Powell and cut the Harding led to 6-3. 
Alex Jennings scored from third on a groundout by 
Daniella Brantley to make it a 6-4 game.
Despite holding the Lady Bisons scoreless in the top of the seventh, the Tigers were unable to rally in the bottom half, losing 6-4.
The Tigers will close out their season with a four game series against East Central. The home series opens with a doubleheader on Friday, April 24 at 2:00 p.m.
