ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Ouachita Tigers baseball team will host the Southwestern Oklahoma State Bulldogs for a three-game series beginning today at 2:00 p.m. at Rab Rodgers Field. The Bulldogs are currently in fourth place in the GAC with an overall record of 21-11 and 12-6 in conference play.
The Tigers are coming off a 2-1 series win over Northwestern Oklahoma State. It was the first conference series win for the Tigers this season. 
Connor Eller earned a 
complete-game win in game one and the Tigers took the final game of the series in ten innings after 
a game-tying homerun from Jakahari Howell.
The Bulldogs are led at the plate by Korbin Polston (.341, 5 HR, 34 RBI) and Jacob Spring (.309, 6 HR, 38 RBI). As a team they are hitting .287, third overall in the GAC. Starting pitchers Jon Chidester and Gunnar Cook have combined for 11 wins against five losses. They have a combined ERA of 3.05.
The two teams will square off today with first pitch set for 2:00 p.m. at Rab Rodgers Field. Tomorrow's doubleheader will begin at noon. Live stats are available
