ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Ouachita Tigers' softball team prepares this weekend for a four-game home series versus the Tigers of East Central University. Ouachita (10-14, 4-8) will look to end a six game losing streak. East Central (14-10, 5-7) is 5-3 in its last two conference series. The series opens on Friday, March 17, with a doubleheader scheduled for 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. The series concludes with a doubleheader scheduled to begin at noon on Saturday, March 18.

For East Central, Alissa Taylor powers the offense with a .470 batting average and is the team's leader in seven offensive categories including hits, RBI, home runs and total bases. Starting pitchers Kelbie Crelia and Karlie Milburn have combined for 11 wins in the circle. Crelia leads ECU in strikeouts, ERA and innings pitched.
