ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Ouachita Tigers' men's tennis players Luis Chab, Lennart Lonnemann and Juan Moncada were named to the 2017 All-GAC First Team in a ceremony held in Bentonville, Ark. on Thursday night. The Tigers will face Southeastern Oklahoma State on Friday in the semifinals of the 2017 GAC Tennis Championships. 

Chab, a sophomore from Oberhausen, Germany, was a unanimous first-team selection after posting a 2-1 record in GAC singles play. He finished the regular season as the #4 NCAA Central Region doubles player. Lonneman, a junior from Vechta, Germany was the Central Region's #7-ranked singles player and was an All-GAC Second Team selection in 2016. Lonnemann was also selected as a 207 Crafton Tull Distinguished Scholar Athlete. Moncada, a freshman from Resistenica, Argentina, went 2-1 in singles competition against the GAC and was one of four true freshmen who competed for the Tigers this season. He took first place in both singles and doubles competition in the GAC Fall Championships.
