THE RUNDOWN

Ouachita Baptist baseball lost a high-scoring affair 13-8 in the first game of a doubleheader at Oklahoma Baptist on Friday. Cole Kelly and Jud Arrington homered for the Tigers in the loss.

Trailing 8-1 in the sixth, the Tigers began to mount a comeback. Pierce Mitchum doubled home Cade Burris and came around to score along with Cade McBride on Kelly's three-run blast.

Arrington's three-run bomb in the eighth helped close an eight-run deficit, but it would prove to be too little too late.
