Ouachita Baptist track and field will compete in its first meet of 2021 on Sunday at the Hendrix Open in Conway. The meet will just be the third in the program's existence, as the inaugural season was cut short due to COVID-19.
In the interest of safety, Hendrix will not be allowing fans at Sunday's meet. Live results can be found at

The 2021 season will be the second that Ouachita has opened at the Hendrix Invitational. Last year,
Jorie Beaumont won the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 13:05.27. She will look to defend that title on Sunday. Also running in Sunday's steeplechase for the Tigers will be freshman
Emily Castilaw.
Ouachita's first event of the day will be the long jump, in which
Lauren Williams and
Grace Pickelman will represent the Tigers beginning at 10 a.m. After the steeplechase at 11, the 1500 meter race is scheduled to begin at 11:45. Running for the Tigers will be
Becca Beard,
Sydney Delgado,
Analysse Hamlett,
Kristen Holeyfield,
Jessica Jennings,
Taylor Koeth, and
Sara Holman. Williams and Pickelman will compete in the high jump at noon, after which Pickelman will run the 400 meter dash.
The Tigers' day ends with the 800 meters, as Beard,
Rebekah Wendt,
Lexi Huse,
Kennedy Stringfellow and
Kirsten Swanson will run for Ouachita.
