ARKADELPHIA – For the second time this season, Ouachita Baptist University junior women's soccer player
Michele Snow has been named the Great American Conference Goalkeeper of the Week.
Snow helped the Tigers (4-1-1) secure their fourth consecutive victory, all via shutout, last Thursday at home in a 1-0 win over Harding in the first conference match of the season.
The North Richlands Hills, Texas native played the full 90 minutes in the win over the Bisons, picking up seven saves and keeping the net empty for her fourth shutout of the year. She now has nine shutouts in her career.
The GAC named Snow its goalkeeper of the week earlier this season on September 14. She has now earned four career player of the week honors from the conference.
Snow and the Tigers take a break from a four-game homestand for a road trip to Oklahoma this week, facing Southern Nazarene on Thursday at 6 p.m. and Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday at 10 a.m.
