ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita Baptist University softball team dropped game one of its home weekend series against Arkansas Tech on Friday by a final score of 5-0.
Tech (22-14, 12-6 GAC) limited Ouachita (10-21, 6-12 GAC) to just three hits in the game. Tech pitcher Shannon Lasey threw a complete-game shutout, only facing three more than the minimum number of Ouachita batters.

Jillian Jones, and
Lacy Ornelas.
Games two and three of the series are set for Saturday at Sully Anderson Field starting at noon.
