Bermudez, one of the region's best two-way players, earned a spot on the D2CCA All-Region Second Team as a pitcher utility. The junior from Chandler, Arizona started 55 games for the Tigers at shortstop, and also made 20 appearances as a relief pitcher. Offensively, he led the team with 53 RBI and tied Allen and one other Tiger for the team lead in homeruns with 12. He also posted a team-high 24-game hitting streak throughout the season and a 27-game reached base streak. On the mound, he served as Ouachita's closer, racking up three wins and a school-record 10 saves in 20 appearances throughout the season with a strikeouts per nine innings ratio of 10.75 and a walks per nine innings ratio of 1.91.
