INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – The Ouachita Baptist University baseball team has been slotted as the No. 4 squad in this week's NCAA region rankings.
The Tigers are seeking their second consecutive NCAA tournament appearance and fourth overall this year with a record of 35-15 heading into the postseason. Ouachita hosts Harding this weekend in the first round of the Great American Conference Championship Tournament. The best-of-three series is set for a single game on Friday at 3 p.m. and a doubleheader on Saturday starting at noon. The winner advances to the GAC Tournament Final Four the next week at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale.
Ouachita broke its 2022 record for conference wins this year with a final mark of 23-10. The Tigers are the No. 2 seed in the GAC tournament, matching its best regular season finish in the history of the league.

The top eight from the region are selected for the NCAA tournament.
