ARKADELPHIA – Four student-athletes from the Ouachita softball team have been selected to the 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
 
Remington Adams, Maggi Huddleston, Tuesday Melton, and Erin Williams are the Tigers honored for their performances both on the field and in the classroom this past season.
 
Requirements for the honor include having reached at least sophomore academic standing, be a starter or significant contributor on the field, and carry at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average.
 
Huddleston, from Bee Branch, Arkansas, and Williams from Stuttgart, Arkansas, graduated on May 11th, both earning bachelor's degrees in kinesiology. Adams is a sophomore from Farmington, Arkansas majoring in elementary education. Melton, a junior from Benton, Arkansas majoring in biomedical sciences earned her second career Academic All-District honors with this year's selection.
