ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita Softball team is set to open the season at home tomorrow with the Annual McGhee-Hawkins Invitational.
The Tigers will be facing off against four teams over the course of the weekend. On Friday, January 31, Ouachita will take on Missouri S&T at 2 p.m. and Northwest Missouri State at 4 p.m. at Langston Field. Saturday's lineup features the Tigers facing off against Christian Brothers at 1 p.m. and Northeastern State at 3 p.m.
Ouachita will also be hosting games between Christian Brothers and Northwest Missouri on Friday at 6 p.m. and Christian Brothers and Northeastern State on Saturday at 11 a.m.

The McGhee-Hawkins Invitational is hosted each year by Ouachita and Henderson State University and honors the late Mike McGhee, the former coach of Ouachita Softball and the late Ronnie Hawkins, a long-time softball coach and umpire in Arkansas.
