RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – Ouachita men's track & field member
Caden Callahan has been selected at the Great American Conference Track Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Ouachita Invitational.
Callahan won the 110m Hurdles last Thursday with a time of 14.72, the fastest time recorded in the GAC so far this season and the only sub-15 second time ran so far this year.
The junior from West Fork, Arkansas also earned a third-place finish in the 400m Hurdles last week with a time of 55.20, which ranks third in the conference.
The Ouachita Invitational this past week was the first home track meet for the Tigers since 1994. In total, the men's and women's teams combined or 21 event wins in the historic meet.
This week, the Tigers will be headed to the capital of the Lone Star State to compete in the Texas Relays, hosted by the University of Texas on March 28-29 in Austin.
