BENTONVILLE, Arkansas – Three members of the Ouachita softball team have earned All-Great American Conference honors for their efforts on the diamond this season.
Baylee King was named to the All-GAC Second Team at the second base position. King led the Tigers at the plate with a .327 batting average and 33 runs scored and tied for the team lead with 10 stolen bases. The sophomore from Commerce, Oklahoma posted 207 defensive chances with just one error all season for a .995 fielding percentage. At the end of the regular season, King ranks second in the league in fielding percentage among those with at least 50 chances and ranks eighth in the GAC in assists with 98.

Emily Reed both earned Honorable Mention All-GAC honors. Amador, a freshman, posted a 13-13 record in the circle and became the first Tiger since 2019 to record double-digit wins. In the GAC, the Burleson, Texas native led the conference in starts with 30, ranked third in innings pitched (157.1), fifth in wins (13), eighth in strikeouts looking (24), and ninth in total strikeouts (94).
Reed led the Tigers in home runs (11), RBI (39), and slugging percentage (.605). The sophomore became the first Ouachita batter to record 11 home runs in a season since 2010. In the GAC, the Benton, Arkansas native ranks sixth in home runs, seventh in RBI, and 12
th in slugging percentage at the end of the regular season.
These three selections to the All-GAC teams mark the most for the Tigers since the 2021.
