ARKADELPHIA – Five Ouachita Baptist University softball student-athletes have been selected to the 2025 Academic All-District Team Presented by College Sports Communicators.
 
Four of the five are earning at least their second academic honor from the CSC, highlighted by senior pitcher Tuesday Melton making her third appearance on the Academic All-District Team.
 
The other three earning their second career all-district honor are junior short stop Remington Adams, senior third baseman Jessalyn Ahrens, and graduate pitcher Maggi Huddleston. Junior pitcher Kodee Batchelor rounds out the honorees with her first selection to the all-district team.
 
To qualify for the CSC honor, the student-athlete must be a starter or significant reserve and carry at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA. True freshmen are not eligible for the honor.
