ARKADELPHIA – Three student-athletes from Ouachita's baseball team have been selected to the 2024 Academic All-District Team presented by College Sports Communicators.

The 2024 honorees are Cade Burris, Tallon Heine, and G. Allen. Heine and Allen are repeat selections to the CSC Academic All-District Team. Allen was also selected to the CSC Academic All-America Team in 2023 and is a finalist for a repeat honor this year.

Requirements for the honor include having reached at least sophomore academic standing, be a starter or significant contributor on the field, and carry at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average.

All three Tigers selected graduated last month. Burris, a native of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, earned a bachelor's degree in finance and business administration. Heine, a native of Tool, Texas, earned a degree in history. Allen, a native of Little Rock, and a two-time selection as Ouachita's Male Scholar Athlete of the Year, earned his degree in philosophy.
