HOT SPRINGS, Arkansas – Four Tigers from the Ouachita baseball team have earned All-Great American Conference honors for the 2026 season.
Graduate starting pitcher
Chase Oberle and junior outfielder
Jaren Ceasar have landed on the All-GAC Second Team. Graduate shortstop
Reece McWilliams and junior catcher
Joseph Bolin have both earned a spot on the All-GAC Honorable Mention list.
The news comes on the day before the start of the 2026 GAC Championship Tournament. The Tigers are up against Arkansas Tech on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at Majestic Park in Hot Springs to start their participation in the double-elimination bracket.
Oberle had an up and down season, missing several weeks with an injury before finishing the season on a high. He earned GAC Pitcher of the Week honors twice this season, including last week's award after picking up a complete game victory in game one of Ouachita's three-game sweep over Henderson State. Overall this season, he is 4-4 with one save to go along with a 3.43 ERA, 52 strikeouts, and just 16 walks in 60.1 innings of work. He is third in the GAC in ERA and fifth in strikeout-to-walk ratio. This is the third straight season for Oberle to earn All-GAC honors.
Ceasar stayed above .400 in batting average for most of the year before finishing the regular season at .387 to lead the Tigers and rank third in the GAC. He currently leads the GAC in total hits this season with 74. He is in the top 10 in eight other GAC statistical categories.
McWilliams held down the shortstop position for the Tigers in 2026 and ended up second on the team in both home runs (5) and RBI (33). Bolin had a standout senior season, collecting team-highs in both home runs (9) and RBI (43). Bolin is the only Tiger to both play and start in all 48 games during the regular season.
Also included in Wednesday's all-conference release was the GAC Baseball Academic Honor Roll for 2026, which includes seven Tigers that have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA and are in at least their second year of college. Ouachita's honorees include
Cade Bowman,
Kyndall Cassidy,
Reece McWilliams,

Gabe Sipes,
Colby Thorsen, and
Braden Tucker.
