Biography

During 2013, Jones participated in nine games, recording 36 receptions for 414 yards. He also hauled in three touchdowns. Jones was named to the 2013 All-GAC Academic Team.

Jones played in nine games in 2012. He had 38 catches for 319 yards. Jones averagd 8.4 yards per catch. Jalon had eight punt returns and six kickoff returns in 2012. He had a 35.4 return yard average per game.  

Jones recorded 170 recieving yards and a touchdown during his freshman season, while also returning 10 kicks and averaging 23.8 yards per return.

Jones came to Ouachita after playing under head coach Clint Ashcraft at Conway High School. During his high school career, Jones was named as an All-Conference selection.

Jones is the son of Todd and Vanessa Speight.
