Summary

Biography

During the 2013 season, Mitchell played in all 10 games. He recorded 57 tackles, 7 pass break ups, two interceptions, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. He was also named a 2013 All-GAC Honorable Mention. Mitchell enters the 2014 season as a USA College Football Preseason Division II All-American Honorable Mention.

Mitchell played in 7 games in 2012. He was named Special Teams Player of the Week once. 

Mitchell participated in four games during the 2011 season.

Mitchell came to Ouachita after playing under head coach Jim Stanley at Vilonia High School. During his time at Vilonia High, Mitchell was named All-County and All-Conference for three consecutive years, All-State Honorable Mention and All-State.

Mitchell is the son of Tom and Kim Mitchell.
